We recorded 122 Distinguished Achievers, one All Rounder and two Top Achievers, together with a Band 6 rate of 18.2 per cent.

In terms of individual highlights among our students, two secured state rankings for Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.

There were some great results from our accelerated students, with one Year 10 student achieving two Band 6s in Extension 1 and Extension 2 Maths, and six Year 11 students achieving Band 6s in Math Advanced.

Marcellin College Principal Mark Woolford congratulated Year 12 on a fantastic effort.

“The key to our school’s HSC successes lies in maintaining high expectations, fostering a collaborative culture, and ensuring students are placed in suitable courses at appropriate levels.

“What truly impressed me about the Class of 2023 was their seamless transition from Stage 5 to Stage 6. Additionally, their remarkable collegiality, pleasant demeanour, and strong commitment to gospel values stand out,” Mr Woolford said
