Congratulations to the Marcellin College Randwick Class of 2025 on your outstanding Higher School Certificate (HSC) results!

Our school placed 128th in the state in The Sydney Morning Herald rankings, recording 94 Distinguished Achievers, two All Rounders and three Top Achievers.

Ninety seven per cent of subjects were above the state average, with four of those subjects being ten per cent or more above the state average.

More than 31 per cent of students received an ATAR of more than 85, with College Dux Noah O’Keeffe receiving an ATAR of 99.85.

Five students received nominations across the HSC Showcases, while together the cohort received 30 nationally recognised VET Certificate II and III qualifications

Principal Mark Woolford congratulated Year 12 on their fantastic achievements.

“Once again we were pleased with the results of the 2025 cohort which continues to consolidate the positive trend in our HSC data particularly over the past six years,” he said.

“The Class of 2025 engaged positively with their teachers and developed good relationships with them and embraced teacher feedback. Furthermore, the students adopted recommended learning practices such as accessing the extra opportunities offered by the College such as extended library hours and accessing the high achiever ex-students tutor program.

“The primary factor in Marcellin College’s HSC success is the emphasis the College places on ensuring the students are on the right pathway and in the appropriate subjects at the right level. Further to this is the strategic decision in ensuring our most experienced and skilled teachers deliver our HSC Courses.”
